Intelsat20 is the most highly sort after Ku-band distribution satellite for TV and Radio in Africa for both Free-to-Air and Paid Entertainment and Religious TV Channels. Also over 200 Church Channels are broadcasted across Sub-Sahara Africa on the Intelsat-20 platform. Often miss spelt as Intelsat 20 or Intelsat 20, Intelsat-20 plays host to top DTH platforms across Africa such as MyTV, Infinity TV and others. Most often Intelsat20 is referred to as MyTV because the DTH was the foremost paid TV provider in Africa that offered Free-to-Air channels offering the biggest known alternative to Multichoice’s DSTV.

Intelsat 20 is known for its retinue of Church TV channels and has continued to be the premium satellite distribution platform for Church Television broadcast in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Intelsat 20 is a geostationary communications satellite which is operated by Intelsat. It was constructed by Space Systems Loral and is based on the LS-1300 satellite bus. It was launched on 2 August 2012 and replaces the Intelsat 7 and Intelsat 10 spacecraft at 68.5º East longitude.
